Hey Youth,
Student Council, mark your calendars for May 25th.
We will have our first meeting at the annex immediately following Sunday
School. I can provide transportation, if you need it. Be prepared to
discuss activities you would like for the month of June. We will provide
the whole youth with a complete calendar. I look forward to meeting with
all of you. I’ll send out a reminder card just prior to the meeting
date.
Attention all youth! Do you want to have an immediate
impact on one very special youth? If so, it’s time to report for duty.
Join us for Operation Coconut. Donations will be taken up on Wednesday
nights and Sunday mornings.
Have you ever considered why making decisions can be tough? Are your
decisions based on your feelings? Is prayer ever part of your decision
making? These tough questions and more will be explored during the month
of May. Join us Wednesdays for “Nite Life,” the easiest decision you’ll
ever make.
All youth are welcome to join us at the annex Friday, May 9th
at 6:00 for “Movie and a Pizza.” Don’t worry-there will be more than one
pizza, after all, you guys need to eat, too!

YEARLY 'BIG EVENTS'
See You At The Pole - A prayer rally at your school flag pole to
pray for your school, teachers, administrators.
Youth Sunday - On Youth Sunday our youth take leadership in our
church; Opportunities to teach Sunday School and lead in our 10:30 worship
service.
Youth VBS - This four day event focuses on Bible study and
fellowship activities.
Mission Trip/Summer Camp - Each year our youth travel to a
different location to put into practice serving others as Christ served.
Back to School Retreat - The Back to School Retreat is an
weekend camp opportunity for our youth at the beginning of the school year
to focus on God and His plans for each of them.
Disciple Now - Disciple Now is an in-house retreat involving
college missionaries to help our youth refocus on God for the second half
of the school year. |
