Thank you!

We would like to thank you so much for all the help that you gave us to help us go on our mission trip to Uganda.  The gifts of money and of encouragement were overwhelming to us.  We leave on March 11 and will be gone for two weeks.  Please be in prayer for us for our ministry there and for our safety and health.  We covet your prayers.  We plan to give a full report when we return.  God bless you.

Bryan Sparkman

Buckets of Hope for Haiti
Thank you to all that participated in the Buckets of Hope for Haiti.  Our church did a total of 42 buckets.  That is outstanding!  It really shows how caring and mission minded a church that we have.  May God bless you for your giving of time and resources.

Text Box: Heart to Heart
The Uganda Mission Project is underway. Mark Walley and Bryan Sparkman should be on site now with their full 18 member team from 3 countries. Their anticipated return is March 24. Pray for their work. They will survey 54 acres of property as part of the site evaluation and Master Planning for a school. As you pray for Mark, Bryan and the team, pray for:
             1. Their ability to complete the survey and site Master Plan.
             2. Their health and safety.
             3. Their ability to communicate effectively with the authorities.
             4. The communication with and cooperation of the local people.
             5. Opportunities to share Christ.

Give time to prayer for North American Missions and our Annie Armstrong Offering. Continue to use the prayer guides for devotion time and pray for the political challenges to gospel ministry in North America. Remember that your offering goes 100% to support the missionaries on the field. Our goal is $8,000. Let’s give with joy and excitement as we partner with fellow Christians to present a clear gospel witness to the unreached people of our nation and continent.

See you Sunday in worship, Bro. LaRue

Deacon Nominations
As chairman of your Deacon Ministry team, I encourage you to prayerfully consider participating in our deacon nomination process. Nomination forms will be available for you to pick up at the worship service this Sunday. The form gives guidance concerning the qualifications for men who are eligible for nomination. Please take a little time to pray and then nominate at least one man. Nominations will end March 28. Those nominated who agree to serve if elected by the church will be posted by April 7 and the church vote will be April 18. Thank you for your participation.

Sincerely, Bill John, Deacon Chairman
