Remember His Grace—Be Remembered For Your Grace.  We have a wonderful story of grace to tell, because God has lavished His grace upon us.  Grace—when God gives us what we do not deserve.  Unmerited favor.  In Genesis 3 God comes to fallen man, calling to Adam and Eve, giving them opportunity to confess their act of disobedience.  He confronted them at the point of their rebellion and announced the consequences of their sinful act, consequences that would forever affect their progeny.  Then, in a magnum example of grace, God brought to naked, shamed, embarrassed man a covering of animal skin.  This noble principle of grace is pictured most perfectly at Calvary where the righteous Jesus, Son of God, died vicariously for sinful man.  Even in Genesis 3 God gave us the promise of Christ (the seed of the woman) and a picture of Calvary where the innocent dies for the guilty.
Jesus is the person of grace and through Him we become people of grace—practicing grace in our relationship with other people.  Grace puts us all together again.
“Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall; Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.  All the king’s horses and all the king’s men  couldn’t put Humpty together again.”  Jesus Christ came to our wall; Jesus Christ died for our Fall; so that, regardless of death and in spite of sin, He, through grace, might put us together again.
See You Sunday in Worship! - Bro. LaRue

Text Box: Hey Youth,
Well, the school year is winding down and soon it will be summer break. That means lots of free time and sleeping in, but enough about me, let’s talk about you. With summer time comes fun and excitement like Games and Grub on Tuesdays to Airsoft on Fridays. We will kick these events off the third week in June this year due to Vacation Bible School and summer camp being back-to-back the first and second weeks. It will be a lot of fun; I hope you will join in on the excitement.
There are two events this Saturday. First, we will meet at the annex at 8:30 a.m. for our regularly scheduled workday. Wear old clothes and expect to get a little dirty. Second, we will meet back at the annex at 5:00 p.m. to leave for the “Switchfoot” concert. If you paid to go to the concert, make sure you have your permission slip signed when you show up.  Also, you will need extra money for food and snacks.
So far here are the students who have been nominated for student council: Seventh grade are Piper and Lakelyn. Eighth grade are Tommy and C.J.  I need two ninth graders. Tenth grade are Stephanie and Katie. I still need eleventh and twelfth graders. Please try to have these grades nominated by this Sunday so our council can be in place before summer rolls around. You really need a voice in the decisions that are made regarding your youth ministry.
Hey, you all have a great weekend.
Scott
