Text Box: This past Sunday I shared the great worship passage from Isaiah 6:  In the year of King Uzziah's death, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. Seraphim stood above Him, and one called out to another and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory." And the foundations of the thresholds trembled while the temple was filling with smoke. Then I said, "Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts." Then one of the seraphim flew to me, with a burning coal in his hand which he had taken from the altar with tongs. And he touched my mouth with it and said, "Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin is forgiven." Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me!"

As Isaiah worshiped, He confessed his sin, was cleansed, and then God called him into service! Is God calling you into service right now? If He is calling you to serve through our Music Ministry, this would be a great time to get started!  We would welcome your participation in groups for any and all ages. Please see or call me at any time if you need information, or have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!

Text Box: Hey Youth,
Well, looking for something to do Friday night? We’ve got your ticket. It’s the Mississippi Sea Wolves game at the coliseum. We will depart from the annex at 4:30 pm and we should return by around 10:00. Friday is “Faith and Family” night and they will be having a concert prior to the game. It will be a lot of fun. The cost is $10 to get in, plus any spending money you will need. Hope you can come!
It’s time to get those spires ready for sale during the month of March. We will be having a series of work parties to prepare them for delivery. Our first one will be January 26th at 9:00 am at the Mogler’s house. We will follow up with another one in February. I really hope all of you are willfully considering attending these work parties. This will really help our “His Church Rising” campaign.
Well, who will you be pulling for in the Super Bowl? Maybe you’re not a fan at all. Either way we’ve got all the fun and excitement on February 3rd at my house for the Youth Super Bowl Party. We will kick things off at 4:30 pm with food, fun and games. There will be several different venues if the game is not your thing. Come join the fun and bring a friend.
Once again, I cannot express my gratitude enough to those of you who came to the church wide workday. A lot was accomplished and it looks great. I’m curious though, who really was king of the hill? By the looks of Stephanie though, it wasn’t her. Ha Ha.
Students, we all know that true love waits, but what do you do while you wait? Find out what God’s word says regarding purity, morality and values at “Nite Life.” Join us Wednesdays at 6:00 for “Nite Life.”

Text Box: Heart to Heart
What a weekend!  Some 80-90 people invested time and energy preparing the new ministry campus for landscaping.  Picking up concrete, limbs, and other debris; moving it to the dumpster.  Backfilling the curbs with topsoil.  Just having fun with each other.  All of this and much more makes for an effective and blessed workday.  Thank you for helping us move closer to a finished landscape.  More workdays are anticipated soon.  Your work, when done, will save us about $55,000.
Another team within our church will begin their work soon, and they will save us a large sum of money, too.  These guys will install the low voltage wiring for data and video.  Pray for this team as they invest themselves in our new facilities.
Have you noticed the south side property?  A family in our church has donated funds for the clearing and piling of the undesirable trees and debris.  Soon this area will offer added value and view to our new ministry facilities.  A special thank you is in order to all the men who have used their tractors, chainsaws, and trucks to assist in the cleanup of this property.  Men, thank you!  More work will be needed to level and smooth the ground after the heavy equipment is finished.  Again, more workdays can be anticipated.
Who wrote all over those walls?  What a sight!  Scripture everywhere!  What a blessing to prayer walk and cover the walls of our new church building with God’s Word.
Thank you for demonstrating the spirit of Christ through giving, working together, and reaching out to friends and neighbors with the gospel.
See You Sunday!
Bro. LaRue

Text Box: Brenda’s Notes . . .
This past Sunday we had an all Sunday School Teachers meeting.  I am so proud of our Sunday School teachers.  I am very honored to serve with them.  Thank you to all the teachers that attended.  At this meeting we discussed what we need to be to walk into a new facility in July.  We need to be a church that is reaching out to the community.  We need to be a church that is always inviting those that we meet.  We need to be a church that is welcoming to all that come our way.  We need to always show others how much we care.  Don’t let the walls get in our way.  I have seen God working a great deal lately in the way that He is sending guests our way.  We need to step up to the plate and be good stewards of those that He sends to us.  On Sunday if you see someone that you do not know, go up to them and invite them to class with you.  If your class is not right, please find me or Dave Bethea and we will get them to a class.  Once the guest is in your class, do everything in your power to make them feel welcomed.  This is not just the teacher or outreach leader’s responsibility.  It is everyone’s responsibility.  Thank you for being the great church that you are.   See you on Sunday as we worship and reach out to others.  Pray for our church to be faithful to God’s will for us and for us to grow.
