Text Box: Hey Youth,
Well, hopefully you all had a wonderful Christmas vacation. I know that my family and I really did. But, it’s back to school time and I know you are all excited.
All right, dig out those old work boots; dust off that trusty work hat— we’re going to work this weekend! All youth are invited to get involved with our Church Wide Workday on Saturday, January 12, at 7:30 am. Mr. Mark Walley told me that he will need some youth to help with parking and other light duties as well.
Have you ever wondered what God’s word says we should do about our purity? What about marriage or dating? All these questions, as well as your own questions, can be answered on Wednesday nights at the annex at 6:00. Come gather with your youth group for “Nite Life”; there are snacks, music and lots of fun!

Text Box: Heart to Heart
Our Second Prayer Walk—Slab Signing is set for this Sunday.  Join us as we walk through our new facilities, praying for the people who will enter it for ministry and praying for those who will minister therein.  As you walk through the multipurpose room, kitchen, office space, youth, and adult education space, take the time to write a favorite Scripture verse on the floor, metal wall studs, or on the concrete wall.  This is a time to reflect upon how far God has brought us individually and as a church family.  Think of how God has provided for our needs faithfully and timely.  Ponder the opportunities God is giving us to impact our community and world with the good news of His forgiveness and salvation through Jesus.  Yes, our God is providing you and me with a very special place—a place where He will do His work of life transformation as we worship Him.  Join us for a time of worship and celebration through prayer walk and slab signing this Sunday right after Sunday School.  Markers will be provided.  You bring your Scripture verse.
Thought for the week:  “If through a broken heart God can bring His purposes to pass in the world, then thank Him for breaking your heart.”
Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest, November 1.

See You Sunday!

Text Box: Brenda’s Notes . . .
We will be beginning a new Bible Study beginning on February 12th and going to March 25.  It will be each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in our office annex.  It will be the new Beth Moore study and it will be led by Jamie Bridger.  Here is the information on the study:
“Beth Moore’s newest study is Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent.  Through an in-depth look at 15 Psalms, participants in this study can pray, reflect, and write a personal rendition of these ancient choruses.  Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God.”
Sign up this Sunday on the bulletin tab.
We are in need of two people that would help a couple Sundays a month with the “Jesus and Me” time with the 4 and 5 year olds during the worship hour.  If you could volunteer, please contact myself or Teresa Cleary.
