Text Box: Move-In Date:
The Building Committee is anticipating a move in date of July 18.  
We are running ahead of schedule and things are going quite well.  What a wonderful day this will be! Glory be to God.
 
Construction Update:
Power: Permanent power to the building will be completed this week.  
Roof: By weeks end we should have the roof completed with 
Text Box: the exception of some trim work that needs to be done. 
Windows: Windows are slated to be installed around the third week of January.  
Exterior Paint:
The exterior paint was completed this past week.
Drywall:
The drywall on the first floor is essentially complete.
The drywall on the second floor is currently being hung.
Exterior Signage:
The exterior 
Text Box: monument sign is currently being designed and will be put out for bids soon.  
Interior Signage:
We are currently working with the architect on interior signage as well.
Air Conditioner Units:
Air conditioner units should be set in place prior to Christmas.
 
Pre-School:
The first floor of the pre-school will have its first coat of primer and paint this week.  
Maintenance Sub-Committee
The Grounds Sub Committee  has several quotes for landscaping.  As soon as the quotes are received we can determine the extent of landscaping based on our budget.  A special work day will be scheduled to continue to clear the south acreage.  
 
Interior Design Update: 
The Interior Design Sub-Committee has done an outstanding job in regard to the interior design, furnishings, color selections and fixtures to name just a few.  This Committee is headed up by Alison Clay and they have had their hands full  with handling all the details of the Interior Design selections. The Kitchen Committee has done an outstanding job in  completing design work and in their equipment selections.

· Capital Stewardship Campaign Pledges
· The work of our Building Committee Members
· The work of our Sub-Committee Members
· Church Staff
· Clear communication and understanding 
· For God’s guidance and provision and that His name is glorified in the construction of His new church.
 
Publicity Update:  The Publicity Sub Committee is scheduled to meet after the first of the year to plan our first church service (ribbon cutting) and  a church dedication event to be held near the anniversary date of Katrina in August.  A tentative date has been set for August 31.  More about these events will be forthcoming.
