Text Box: Master Plan:  The Building Committee and all Sub-Committees were very excited by the overwhelmingly positive mandate (92%) received from the Church Body in support of the Master Plan and Phase One.  The Building Committee is revitalized to move forward and will be requesting help from the body as we move work through the detail design phase of the program.  
Property Sub-Committee:
We will close on the new property, located at 300 Cleveland Text Box: Avenue, on October 30, 2006.  We have received no update from the Corp of Engineers, but we officially filed our request to mitigate 6.5 acres on September 12, 2006.  
Construction and Building Design Sub-Committee:
Architectural drawings should be completed by late December 2006.  Final contractor costs are due a couple of weeks later in January 2007.  We will review drawings and costs in detail at 50% and 100% completion.  Site work is estimated at 2 months with an additional 12 months Text Box: required for construction.  Groundbreaking could begin as early as February 2007 pending permitting which requires completed wetlands mitigation.  We continue to work diligently on our cost containment program with over $600,000 worth of identified measures on the tracking list.  Several items we are currently working to resolve include: Specification of wind speed requirements (how far above 130 mph code), means to protect glass on the South Elevation, special disaster requirements including generator Text Box: Volume 1, Issue 5

Text Box: Financial Sub-Committee Seeks grant money
